This is little Jacob in his first ever Halloween costume. His daddy picked out the lion. I wanted him to be a flower, but daddy thought that was too girly for him. He learned to roar when he wore it (mostly in response to others roaring at him) and now he roars all the time. He is a very happy, noisy baby who only sits still when he wants to cuddle after a nap. He is already mischievious and likes to do what you tell him not to. He makes friends quickly and has about a hundred girlfriends. If he knows you well enough he lights up screaming when you come into the room and crawls to greet you. I love being a wife and mom, even though when I was young I didn't want to have children. He is definitely worth the chunky thighs, mommy tummy and stretch marks that came along with him!
I was put to shame the other day by a 5 year old who has her own blogspot and does all the typing herself (you go Trin!) and I thought, if she can do it so can I. So this is my official first entry on my blog and it is already all about this little lion, but don't you fret, soon something really amazing will happen and I won't be able to avoid posting it on my wonderful and amazing blogspot!
