Jayda Mae

The other day I took little Jayda for her seriously overdue 2 month doctor visit. She had to collect her shots. She got three shots and an oral something or other. She had a negative reaction (meaning she cried a lot). The appointment was at 1:15 and it was bed time before she was really able to relax and stop crying. When we got home we discovered that we were locked out of the house! We eventually got in after waiting in 95 degree weather for Billy to get home to help us. We were only stranded for an hour or so. That was a great day! I am not sure if it was because of the shot, or the energy she used crying so much, but Jayda slept great that night. It was wonderful, she ate at 9:40 and slept until 3am. She had trouble getting back to sleep, but when se did I didn't have to feed her again until 8:30! It was like heaven in my bedroom! I am happy just thinking about all the sleep I got that night. I hope it means a lot more sleep in my future. Especially because I am starting classes at the end of August. I love my kids even when they are acting crazy. I am glad I am not God, with billions of crazy kids to love and look after. Two seems like I am one or two away from my limit! I am very happy to let God be God, I will live happily just following directions and not worrying about anything else! Its great to be a kid, letting someone else worry about your needs. Please forgive the rambling, I am tired.

oh what a day that must have been! Lil J did not enjoy her 3 shots/oral stuff either and took about a day to settle down. Not to make you jealous - but she goes to bed at 9:30ish and wakes up around 5:30/6am - LOVE IT. So, I guess its the 3rd child that sleeps =) Miss you friend!
    love ya,

YAY for sleeping! It's especially nice after a long day.
Sorry that you had to go through getting shots for your little one--I am such a baby when my baby is in pain. It makes for a stressful day. Love you and miss you so much!
